Mallory Kohut is currently a Sets Shading TD at Pixar Animation in Emeryville, CA. She received her MFA from the Department of Visualization at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. Her primary industry focus is surfacing, with a secondary interest in modeling. Her background in traditional media includes drawing, painting, and fibers.

Aside from her enthusiasm for animation and gaming, Kohut has been dancing for 20 years and received a Minor in Dance at A&M with a focus on ballet and modern. During her studies, she was also an active member of Ballet Brazos, a pre-professional ballet company serving the Bryan-College Station area, where she performed in 6 productions of The Nutcracker.
